| I know what you are thinking. This is not what I usually blog about. I am normally blogging about fashion, or make up. But believe it or not, there are other things I enjoy! One of them being home decorating. I think it falls into the same category as fashion doesn't it? Well, I couldn't help but share with you my experience today. A client of mine told me about a store that her and a friend were opening together. It was to be called Serendipitous II and today was their soft opening. I almost felt like I had walked into an Anthropologie store. (minus the clothes and I could afford everything:-) I told Colleen (one of the owners) that I am going to have to make weekly trips here. They had everything from cute handmade jewelry to old pieces of furniture that they had painted and refinished to give it that rustic look. I took a few pictures of the purchases I made today at Serendipitous II. The yellow chair was repainted by Colleen and only cost me $15! It's really cute and goes fabulously with my decor. I also purchased six of the plates pictured below for only $6. I only needed three for my wall display, but why not purchase all six for that price! They also carry Miche Bags which are really hard to find and super cool. You have to see them to believe them but all you have to do is purchase the bag and then you can purchase different shells for the outside so it looks like you are carrying a different bag every day except you don't have to go through pulling all your stuff out to change bags. You just yank off the shell and stick another one on. They are magnetic. Pretty cool:-) (check the bottom photo for my favorite Miche bag:-) |
