Fishnet stockings are nothing to be ashamed of. They have been around since the late 1800's/early 1900's if you can believe it! They do kind of scream seXy, so you might want to be careful of how you wear them. You wouldn't want to send the wrong message.....unless you're in that situation where the wrong message might be the right one........( if you know what I mean.....;) I decided that my look needed a little extra umppphh today and fishnet knee highs are what I chose to achieve my desired extra umppphh.
What I wore:
Talbots Hollywood dot pin-tuck blouse (Yeah you have seen me wear this one before. And you will see me wear it again. Next time with my RED pencil skirt.)
black merino wool cardigan from Victoria's Secret
slim cropped black pants from Gap
fishnet knee highs from Talbots
Ursulina pumps in RED patent by Vigotti
Talbots statement necklace
RED lipstick by Shu Uemura in RD 165

Love how you wear it!
You look fabulous! I just ordered the polka dot top, statement necklace, and the Talbot's Lyla Suede Red Tuxedo flats. I have never owned red shoes in my life...so, thank you for your inspiration.
(p.s. how is the sizing on the polka dot blouse?)
I feel that the sizing is true on the blouse, however, if you are more of a woman than I on the top half, you may have to go up one size ;)
Laura, thank you for responding. One other question...the Talbot's statement necklace is hematite color, and their photo shows it to be a bit more silver than black. Your photo shows it to be more black? So, is the necklace black? I really appreciate your feedback because I live in Northern California and we do not have a Talbots nearby...it's 2 hours away...
Mine is actally the hematite color. It just shows up more black in the photos;)
gorgeous top to bottom!
